My daughter will not have medicine, but will happily take a tablet so this reassures me when she needs ibuprofen! Giving your child too much ibuprofen by accident can be dangerous.

Make sure you don't give your child more than one medicine with ibuprofen. Not all adult medicine can be given to children. Can you imagine if all medicine was provided by a rectal suppository?
I think it's even more important for kids' medication. Your child may also get diarrhoea, or they may hear ringing in their ears. If you compare the dose for a 6 and 8 year old, you can see that the tablet dose is the same, whereas the liquid dose changes just slightly.
